How can I remove the start-up pin request on my Bold 9900?

Startup PIN request? In BlackBerry there is no startup PIN request. BB device asks for password for accessing the device. Are you talking about SIM PIN?? In that case you would see enter SIM PIN no..

If its a password request then you can disable it. Go to Oprions > Security > Password > Uncheck Enable under General. You;ll be asked to to type in existing password and then Save.

Go to Options > Device > Advanced System Settings > SIM Card > click Menu button > Disable Security. Type in your existing SIM PIN no.and then save. That's all .
