my blackberry 9810 is dead and no red light shown while charging. I have removed the battery and re inserted it severally but still not coming up. though, the phone is about 6month old. pls, help to get my phone back to work.
1) Place your BB, with your battery inside, on a known good wall charger (not USB to your computer) for 2 hours. Don't touch it, no matter what the display or the LED does.
2) Still with the BB on the charger, remove the battery. Leave it out for 15 minutes.
3) Still with the BB on the charger, insert the battery. Leave it for another 2 hours.
4) See it's state, hopefully it's booted up normally and is charging.
Note that this entire 4h15m time, the BB remains on the known good wall charger...any deviation means starting over. Sometimes this process has been known to "kick start" a BB.
If your battery is fully drained, it may take some time before it is ready to use. Further, if the battery fully drained, it could have been damaged, possibly to the point of non-function. If that is the case, then you need to obtain a known good and already fully charged battery...use it in your BB and see what happens. At the same time, obtain an identical known-good BB...use your battery in it and see what happens. The results will help determine if your battery or your BB may have gone bad.
