Where and how do I enter my number so it is displayed at the top of the call log screen? I am using a curve 8310

Go to Options, Advanced Options, SIM card.

Highlight area under "Phone Number:" select "Edit SIM Phone Number".

Turn phone off, turn it back on.  You should see it.

However, if you just barely got the curve activated it will occur automatically but may take a while.  Sometimes turning your device off and then turning it back on works. 

It has everything to do with the SIM card and your connection to the network of your carrier.

         Thanks very much, I had the same problem with BB bold. I could not see the number displayed on the call log, booth now is OK.
