Just a random question

How many email addresses can we have on a blackberry device? with BES and with BIS

I don't recall if there there is a specific limitation, but I know of users who have had upwards of 20,000+ contacts in the address book.

Oh i think i put the question wrong, I actually meant how many email accounts can we have on a device?

I guess it is controlled by each wireless service provider, the number of email accounts that can be integrated into blackberry. Usuallly 10 (our operator has this). But an official answer can only be inquired from them.

Sorry, he is asking about email accounts.. I misread that, thinking email addresses, i.e., contacts.

On all carriers, on BIS, you can have ten BIS email accounts setup.

On BES, you can have one BES account, and ten BIS accounts, or as allowed by your company BES Admin).

some carriers accept less than 10 BIS email address.
For instance, in France, two low-cost carriers (10EUR/month) allow only 1 BIS email + 1 BIS carrier email (@myCarrier.blackberry.net )

Check specifically for your carrier.
