All my pictures, videos and music are still there with the broken image symbol thing, but they won't load/can't open them. I have a lot of meaningful pictures and videos and would love to be able to recover them, is there a way?

are they on the device or the sd card?

if they are on the sd card, try removing the sd card and reinsert and reeboot your phone.

if it still dosent work, try connecting the card on the comp using a card reader and see if you can access the data, if not the data is probably corrupt and you will have to format the data and restore from a backup, provided you have one.
