i have three email messages to open but i cannot find where they are??

i had forgotten my blackberry orange password to set up emails so i entered my user name and was told a password was sent to my device but where on my device????

i have phoned up orange and sorted out my password but i would just like to open these messages so that the email alert symbol  goes.

orange have reset all my email accounts . .

i have  an SMS/MMS folder and 3 email folders specific to three different email accounts BUT i do not have a message inbox available that the Orange operator believed i should have but i am not sure i believe him??!!!!

do i need to reset settings within my blackberry pearl???

You password notification should be sent via a PIN message to your main messages folder. Do you have it hidden?

Tips for clearing that unread message... try them in order.

If you have a rogue New Message icon on your Homescreen, or a negative count (-1), any one of these solutions could clear it, or reset it to zero:

Try these options:

1. * Hard Reset the BlackBerry by holding ALT, CAP (right Shift key), and DEL (or with the BlackBerry powered ON, remove the battery and reinserting the battery)
2. * View Messages > Saved Messages
3. * View Messages > View Folders, check each folder (missed calls, SMS in and out boxes, MMS in and out boxes, Saved, browser, phone logs etc)
4. * Scroll to top of message folder, over the date heading, click or press menu to MARK PRIOR OPEN
5. * Change your theme and see if it persists, and change back to your desired theme. (Options > Theme > select.)
6. * Wipe and reload your OS.

i do not know where my main message folder is????? 

do you have any ideas where it may be?

Where do you get your emails coming in?

What is the name of that folder?

i have three email accounts with separate email icons (envelope and world for two and envelope and yahoo symbol for Yahoo mail) on my main screen and my SMS/MMS folder

each email account is named after the email address

Then you likely have your Main Messages folder hidden.

On your main screen, press the Menu key > and click SHOW ALL so that SHOW ALL is checkmarked.

Now look all over for the main messages folder.

I don't recommend hiding this folder (some do) as you will need to access it from time to time.

i changed my theme style and the 'message' icon appeared with the hidden messages so i read them and deleted them . . . . aaaaahhhhh sweet . . . .  NO MORE 'phantom' emails 

ALL FIXED!!!
