i have three email messages to open but i cannot find where they are??
i had forgotten my blackberry orange password to set up emails so i entered my user name and was told a password was sent to my device but where on my device????
i have phoned up orange and sorted out my password but i would just like to open these messages so that the email alert symbol goes.
orange have reset all my email accounts . .
i have an SMS/MMS folder and 3 email folders specific to three different email accounts BUT i do not have a message inbox available that the Orange operator believed i should have but i am not sure i believe him??!!!!
do i need to reset settings within my blackberry pearl???

You password notification should be sent via a PIN message to your main messages folder. Do you have it hidden?
Tips for clearing that unread message... try them in order.
If you have a rogue New Message icon on your Homescreen, or a negative count (-1), any one of these solutions could clear it, or reset it to zero:
Try these options:

i do not know where my main message folder is?????

i have three email accounts with separate email icons (envelope and world for two and envelope and yahoo symbol for Yahoo mail) on my main screen and my SMS/MMS folder
each email account is named after the email address

Then you likely have your Main Messages folder hidden.
On your main screen, press the Menu key > and click SHOW ALL so that SHOW ALL is checkmarked.
Now look all over for the main messages folder.
I don't recommend hiding this folder (some do) as you will need to access it from time to time.

i changed my theme style and the 'message' icon appeared with the hidden messages so i read them and deleted them . . . . aaaaahhhhh sweet . . . . NO MORE 'phantom' emails
ALL FIXED!!!
