With Jeremy's help, I captured the step-by-step instructions on how to build and deploy DosBox to a PlayBook.  Check out: http://openbbnews.wordpress.com/2012/01/06/dosbox-from-github/ 

I used the post to capture how to do some basic things, like giving an Application right to look into the shared files.

There are a couple of places where the instructions can be further streamlined, and we also need to discuss whether we should upload pre-built binaires.

My goal is to have these type of posts for all the components at GitHub, to simplify the adoption.  Feedback is always welcome.

Tnaks for tutorial! I was able to follow steps, but didn't undestand how to test in ithe simulator.

Billd project all works fine.

As a side question, may you recomed ony book/tutorrial/info on PlayBook development, especialy on porting existing opensorse application?

Sorry, I have not tried using the simulator yet; it's in my todo list.  I have ready access to PlayBooks, and, given the latest price reductions, I assumed most people would be interested on that first.

I work on these posts as other activities permit; I'll eventually get to simulators - or maybe I can convince somebody to do a post, there, or at DevBlog.
