Ñ encoding

HI,

I am using the following method to reproduce the sound of a url:

String url="http://123.123.123.123:324/N/N/Ñoño.mp3"

 p = Manager.createPlayer(url);

The problem is that the file mp3 doesn´t sound. It may be the coding Ñ.

Is there any solution?

Thanks and regards

Re: Ñ encoding

Can you play it from your browser or other client?

The URL, as you gave it, does not return a respond (Connection Timed out).

Re: Ñ encoding

I´m Sorry, the url is a example. The problem is the character "ñ" is in the url.

Can you use some kind of coding?

Re: Ñ encoding

You have to URL encode the character...

Re: Ñ encoding

Yes, I've solved it. The method createPlayer supports base64 characters. The letter Ñ not.

So I coded the letter Ñ:

str=str.replace(/Ñ/gi, "%C3%91");

Thanks and regards
