3G Networks

Is there a way to programatically detect if you're using a 3G network on the Bold?

Thanks,

Re: 3G Networks

The RadioInfo class has a method called getActiveWAFs. I think you can check if RadioInfo.WAF_3GPP is in the results to tell if 3G is active.

Re: 3G Networks

Does the Bold have an indicator on the homescreen for 3G or does it just say EDGE?

Re: 3G Networks

Depending on coverage, the BlackBerry Bold can display either 3G or EDGE on its home screen.
