I am trying to make httpsConnection over WIFI,WAP,TCP,
If i connect thr WIFI-,I am getting response Code as 200
if i connect thr WAP&TCP - I am getting response Code as 404.
I tried all these through manual connection mechanisms such as Transport Detective.
If i try these process with help of Connection factory ,I am getting connectionObject for WIFI only, rest i am getting null.
and I came across below link for httpsConnection
If the Wireless provider does not provide SSL,Will these be reason of issue,How could i identify it?

Is the URL you are trying to access publicly accessible over the Internet? If it's internal to a corproate network then you'd need to use a connection through BES or WiFi (if you are on the corporate WiFi network).
Direct TCP connections do support SSL.

I am trying to hit the public url only which is a httpsConnection,
If i add the BIS-B options in ConnectionFactory and i tried hitting url,it works across two networks airtel and vodafone in BIS-B connection mode.
Without BIS,I tried access same url via WAP or TCP,in Vodafone networks,I am getting connection descriptor as null.
If i tried accessing blackberry.com via NetworkAPIDemo in airtel carrier,It is getting connected thr WAP2 i,but getting response as unauthorized request.ButIn Vodafone network,It is not able to connect.
Similarly , If i tried accessing my url in NetworkAPIDemo thr same airtel carrier,I am getting WAP2 connection as failed .
If i tried hitting through manual connection mechanism, aligning my own ur via WAP2.,I am getting response code as 404 .

Support for WAP/WAP2 and carrier TCP vary by carrier. You'll need to appropriate authentication parameters for each carrier. But even with though they can place limits based on your data plan or have limits on the types of connections and/or size of files that can be transferred. Carrier TCP is usually the least restrictive, followed by WAP 2 and then WAP. I recommend contacting your carrier to verify your data plan supports the types of connections you are making.
