8820 alx file

Hi all,

i compiled my application and generated an alx file. Then i loaded it to my 8820. Everything is OK. However, i loaded it to a different 8820 and it does not work. Both 8820 have same settings and same os.

When i debug my application, i see that it throws  IOException at here

streamConnection = (StreamConnection)Connector.open(getUrl(), Connector.READ, true);

Any idea?

Re: 8820 alx file

What are the details for your IOException (call the .toString method on the exception)?

Re: 8820 alx file

Re: 8820 alx file

Yes, i did. This is not about that. I found the problem but i don't know how i can solve it. The problem is SIM Card(Edge supported) but not device. What is the possible problem?

What if call to your wireless carrier support and ask them - why that is happening with your sim-card ?

It is a carrier-specific problem, and maybe they will give you information about setting up your blackberry etc ?

What do you think ?
