API for defining APs

Hi everyone,

I have been searching the API docs for an interface that allows you to define access points on Blackberry devices with WiFi support. Unable to find anything I turn to you guys. Does anyone know if there is an API available for configuring access points in Blackberry devices with WiFi support?

Thanks in advance

Mag

I cannot recall seeing or hearing of any such APIs.

Re: API for defining APs

That is correct, there are no APIs to programmatically set up a Wifi AP on the device. The user is required to do the initial setup.

Re: API for defining APs

I understand that this has been asked before. However would like to know with the new models of blackberry out in the market, is there any API to define access points.

If not, besides manual inputs is there any other possible methods of doing so?
