I think there is a problem with the eclipse plugin.
The AccelerometerSensor class isn't showing all available methods with the plug-in under Eclipse. The only static method available is AccelerometerSensor.openRawDataChannel. I checked to make sure I have the latest version of everything (1.0.0.50 for the plugin, 4.7.0.39 for the component pack).
I hope the only answer isn't to use the Blackberry JDE -- I really really really would rather not.
