Access to jad attributes without OTA?

[ Edited ]

I'm finding that I can't access jad attributes unless I perform an OTA installation. If for example I install with a 'javaloader -usb load app.jad' the CodeModuleGroup is created but the jad attributes are not present.

Is this the expected behavior?

Can anyone point me to better documentation on how and when CodeModuleGroups are created? I have found for example that doing 'javaloader -usb load app.cod' will not create a module group.

Re: Access to jad attributes without OTA?

If the JAD file attributes were added after the project was built, this is the expected behaviour.  Javaloader does not populate all of the application information that is present when you install using other methods.

The following document explains the differences between JAD file parameters added before and after an application is built.
