I too would really appreciate being able to do BB development in Eclipse and Linux/OSX. I really have no respect for Windows as a development platform (I admire those who can program in it but despise the hoops they have to jump to make things work). Linux is much less of a headache IMHO.
I still have not been able to get BB + Eclipse work under Linux even after reading http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Develo
I can wait a bit though; my BB Curve is currently on loan.
But, it would make my day to be able to compile one single bloody hello world program.
