please bare with me as I am a total beginner. I have been asked to write a smal batch script that would take all files (only txt files) in directory on my workstation and package them in a .cod file. When installing the .cod file the same directory structure and files should be installed to file:///store/home/user/ on the device. The entire process must be executed via DOS CMD.
In a symbian environment you would write a .pkg file where source and device destination paths are defined. Then run 'makesis -s sourceFile.pkg destinationApp.sis' and then install the .sis package.
The idea is to reconfigure a installed Blackberry application that reads its Setting from file:///store/home/user/Settings/. Users must be able to install OTA.
Any help is highly appreciated.
