I just started developing blackberry apps and I have recently embarked on developing an app for my website. My website was built with drupal and I intend to have my app work just like my website in terms of logging on and making comments and viewing profile(something similar to facebook). I am sure I can get it done if am given an outline of the different process I can achieve.
Firstly how should the app be authenticated and when I get it authenticated how will I have the login sync to the profile of that user on th website?
I was thinking I could redo the entire website for mobile and just get it in a browserfield. The main reason I need an app is because I intend to use native features like taking picture and uploading it to the website.
I really need some advice how should I go about making an app that is native and requires an user to be authenticated before use and after authentication everything the user does should reflect on the site on his profile(similar to facebook)...
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

tring login = username + ":" + password; byte encoded = Base64OutputStream.encode(login.getBytes(), 0, login.length(), false, false); xxx.setRequestProperty("Authorization", "Basic " + new String(encoded));
