Autostartup app programatically.

hi friends,

My app works on OS 4.5 onwards. It is an auto-startup app. Is there anyway I can do autostartup in just OS 4.5 but not OS 5+. ? Is there any way i can do it programatically?

thanks

Re: Autostartup app programatically.

I think you can do this bye creating alternate entry point.

after setting alternate entry point try this code.

	if (args != null && args.length > 0 && args[0].equals("autostart")) {
			String version = DeviceInfo.getSoftwareVersion();
			int majorVersion = Integer.parseInt(version.substring(0, version
					.indexOf('.')));
			if (majorVersion >= 5) {
				// do anything
				System.exit(0);
			} else {
				// do something for os <5
			}

		} else {
			// user has started the application.
		}
