Available Wi-fi connection scanning..?

Hi

These days i am working on a project in which i need to scan the available wifi networks.

i can easily get the connected wifi network in device, but stuck in scanning all the network in range.

i do some googeling and read about some api like hotspot registry etc. but these are not successfull to scan in  background process without any user interaction or mannual setting after app installation.

If any body has some other solution for this problm then kindly post here...!

Thanks in advance

Re: Available Wi-fi connection scanning..?

the hotspot api is the only one that provides this. why it does not work in the background is another question, i don't have experience using it, maybe a search could give you helpful hints.
