I have a J2ME application that runs fine on the 8900 but after the application launches, if I choose the "Switch Application" blackberry menu option and select that, I get a full white screen as the background (absolutely nothing else is visible in the background -- it's just full white). On the foreground I get the little bar with the applications that I can select to switch to. However, if I choose to go back to my midlet again, I end up with the full white screen (the handheld it won't actually render my midlet on the screen but rather just show the full white background). If I click on a couple of buttons again (for example, the back button), the midlet is rendered again.
The same thing also happens when I first connect to any bluetooth device from this device. I am asked to enter the pin which I do. After that I get the same full white screen.
This doesn't happen with other models of blackberry handsets that we tesed on (example, Blackberry 9000 doesn't have the same problem).
What could be wrong? Could I do something in the midlet to help the 8900 get over this problem?
