Background on Fields

can someone help me?

 

how to set background Bitmap on the MainScreen, on the screen I have some fields, and if I override paint() method and draw bitmap in it its override all screen and fields

 

can halp?

Try to override paintBackground(Graphics g), draw your bitmap inside and leave everything else to paint normally.

you can take a manager, then override its paint(Graphics g) and add all your fields to this manager, and in turn add this manager to your screen.

as per Jerome Carty override painBackground method of the Screen. Its better if you want to display image in the whole screen else override paintBackground of the manager you are using.

 

protected void paintBackground(Graphics graphics) 
{
    graphics.drawBitmap(x, y, bitmapwidth, bitmapheight, bitmap, left, top); 
}
