Backlight status on or off ?

Anybody knows how to get current backlight status ?

I cannot seem to access that information from the Backlight class :-(

Something like getCurrentBrightness()?

Thanks

P.S. I only need to check whether backlight is turned on or off.

Re: Backlight status on or off ?

Use the BackLight.isEnabled() method to query this.

Re: Backlight status on or off ?

Thanks !

I will test it as soon as possible.

But the naming is confusing. IsEnabled() sounds like a query to see whether the backlight is enabled at all, and not wether it is on or off at present time :smileysad:
