I'm missing Linux tools too, from very, very long time. How are Mac tools created? Is it pure java or (again) some unportable binaries?

This is great! A nice step forward for BB development. I haven't tried it yet as my Macbook is at home. Am I reading it right in that this is only for development on the Torch or 6.0 devices?
