BlackBerry Nine-Patch library

Despite the fact that it now appears Java development for BlackBerry is a dead-end, hopefully this library will help someone else as much as it has helped me.

Re: BlackBerry Nine-Patch library

This looks great!

Java support may be excluded from the BBX roadmap, however the Java platform is bound to be around for a long time still; 70 million subscribers won't transition overnight. An approach such as this is sure to improve the user (and developer) experience. Really appreciate the contribution to the community here.

Re: BlackBerry Nine-Patch library

Huh, you're right.  I never gave it a version number.  I suppose you can just consider what is currently in GitHub as version 1.0.  If any changes are ever made, I will make sure to add a version number.

Re: BlackBerry Nine-Patch library

Are you looking for sample code to use the Nine Patch library, or sample code for simply stretching a bitmap, without it being a nine patch?

Re: BlackBerry Nine-Patch library

You're going to have to provide a lot more information if you would like help diagnosing this issue:

- What type of object are you trying to create?
- What parameters are you passing to the constructor?
- What exception is thrown?
- What is the stack trace?
