Blackberry Java SDK 7 Beta?

Hello Everyone,

I want to download and installed the new blackberry plugin for eclipse. I was wondering if the new OS 7 is included in the plugin and if the 9900 simulator will also work with eclipse ...

Thanks in advance

Re: Blackberry Java SDK 7 Beta?

The latest Eclipse plugin is 1.3 and includes API 6.0 and the 9800 Torch simulator. Once you have it installed you can use the update site to get 7.0, which both the simulator and the API included will work with.

Re: Blackberry Java SDK 7 Beta?

Thank you for the reply. I have done that. My problem is when I try install the 7.0 in eclipse it asks for a username and password which I got at the above site and it keeps on telling me it is the wrong login info. I then use the same login details on the developer zone site and it works ... So I am lost on this one.

Re: Blackberry Java SDK 7 Beta?

Hmm, yes. I can't really help you with that. I have never encountered that issue though I know a few have mentioned the issue.
