Blackberry Messanger SDK jar file error

hi

 thanks for your post

i want to add blackberry SDK jar file into my application but it display follwing error

i use Eclipse Helios which is given in the RIM website.

 

Description Resource Path Location Type
D:\BBM SDK Beta 4_03_10_2011\BBM SDK\5.0\net_rim_bb_qm_platform.jar can not be exported because some class in it was eviscerated (content of a class file was removed). MessengerSDK line 0 BlackBerry Packaging Problem

 

i use JRE version 6.0 

and Blackberry Mesanger SDK 4_03_10 from blackberry webiste

 

then what is error in that?

did u include external jar ?

 

I had thist too :

 

${LIB}.jar can not be exported because some class in it was eviscerated (content of a class file was removed).    example        line 0    BlackBerry Packaging Problem

I am having the same problem, but the solution link on  the next forum is now dead.

Earlier i faced same problem  with netbeans also  , just use the Eclipse Helios and Follow the Steps

click on Add External jar, give it path to BBM SDK JAR.

 

1) Make sure you are using the new BBM SDK v 1.0 build

 

2) Don't tick the bbm sdk lib to be included in the Order&Export tab in Eclipse.

 

3) Make sure you have BBM 6.0 installed on your device which you get from the Beta Zone.

 

with these steps my problems solved and we have Apps using BBM SDK.

hi i have brought a blackberry bold 9700 bb measenger isent working it says all contacs are pending even if they have sent me one a accsept but it still says pending could u help please thanks

I've encountered this message while trying to use external JAR. As I've found, jar contaned classes with NATIVE methods. Remove classes with native methods and this nasty message goes away. RIM, your error messaging su..., is poor, BTW
