Blocking virtual keypad - 4.6.1 SDK

Hi friends,

 

There is some way to block virtual keypad on sdk 4.6.1? 

I am not able to scroll correctly in torch 8900 when the virtual keypad is visible.

Block or Hide. Hide is good to me too.

the 8900 is a curve device. there is no torch device running on 4.6.1, the first touch device, the storm, was released with OS 4.7

in fact the virtual keyboard api exists since 4.7

you can use preprocessing to include it in a shared source.

sorry torch 9800. But my application will run on curve 8520 and torch 9800.
I need to block the virtual keyboard. how is the preprocessing?

look up preprocessing on the boards or check the developer guide.

I solved this problem removing the banner when the virtual keyboard is activated, in sublayout. Thanks !
