I have been developing a BB Storm app which communicates to a prototype device via bluetooth serial port. The development has been done on OS4.7 and Storm1. Everything worked fine. Then i tried upgrading OS to 5.0, rebuilt app for 5.0, ran it, and everything exploded. I haven't narrowed down the exact point of failure of yet but it seems that when app attempts to create the BT serial port, the whole system crashes. I breifly see a white screen with some tiny text which i dont have time to read before the device shuts down and restarts. I tried same thing on a Storm2 as well and experienced the same result. Before i get neck deep into debugging this problem, i was wondering if anybody could share any insight on this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
