Browser Field sampel from 4.6 JDE

Hey,

I have been trying to get a browser field working for the BlackBerry Bold using the 4.6 JDE.

I run the sample code ("Browser Field Demo") provided with the JDE, but i just get a white blank page....

Does anyone had the sample problem ?

How do you solve that ?

Any help appreciated .....

Re: Browser Field sampel from 4.6 JDE

hey after investigating the sample code a bit more i figured out that the BrowserContent is null which means to mean to me that this

_renderingSession.getBrowserContent(connection, this, e);

returns null.  Any idea why that is ?

Re: Browser Field sampel from 4.6 JDE

Hye,

I figured it out why it woudnlt load the page it had to to with redirecting of google.com as im basaed in Australia ....

Anyway now im using a simple page from yelp which i want to display. Again im using the sample code of the Browser Field Demo in 4/6 JDE. This is the url http://mobile.yelp.com/biz/p17riTr7iqYonYHUTsxELw.

The problem im having now is that the links arent working and that the images are getting downloaded. Im not 100 % sure but could that to do with the rendering ? I already played with different rendering settings but couldn't manage to get it to work.

Again any help appreciated....

Re: Browser Field sampel from 4.6 JDE

Hi,

I am working on one demo application for using Browser Field in that.

The Same is working on fine on simulator. But it is not working on the device.

The device I am using is 8900 Curve.

The problem is coming when I am trying to make HTTPConnection.

So please let me know any issue with the same or if any solution/ work around for the same.

Thanks in advance.
