BrowserField with custom width in VerticalFieldManager

Hi Experts,

I need to use a browser field in my application for the fixed width and height.

I searched in forum and I found one demo example. But, when I tried to use that in my application inside a vertical field manager, it does not displaying anything.

Can anyone give me the code or path of browserfield example to use that inside a verticalfieldmanager.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Re: BrowserField with custom width in VerticalFieldManager

sorry i haven't seen a complete example of this. but here's what you can do.

1. create a custom manager class. just copy the one from the article.

2. then you created a mainscreen class where you intended to display the page right?

3. check out the BrowserFieldDemo sample, and add your manager inside the if (field !=null) section. That is right after receiving the field from browserContent. add the field to the CustomManager.

synchronized (Application.getEventLock()) {
    _mainScreen.deleteAll();
    _mainScreen.add(new LabelField("LabelField Above"));
    CustomManager manager = new CustomManager();
    manager.add(field);
    _mainScreen.add(manager);
    _mainScreen.add(new BasicEditField("EditField Below:", ""));

}
