CERTICOM API Calls

I've written an application using some of the certicom classes, but even after signing the application it fails with a strange exception on hardware. Everything works fine on the simulator.

I'm pretty sure the problem is a missing signing cert for the certicom stuff, but I haven't had any luck contacting RIM to get the certificate. Is there some secret sauce I'm missing? I've tried both devsupport@rim.com and their code signing help form with no results (although it's only been a week....)

What's the right way to get the CERTICOM certificates these days?

Here's the line that generates the exception on the device:

private static ECCryptoSystem cryptSystem = new ECCryptoSystem(ECCryptoSystem.EC384R1);
