Yes I have checked it again the code you provided works fine on 4.6.1.92 for 8900 and it also works for 8350i having OS 4.6.1.313 .

Thanks for all the useful posts.

I can confirm that the attached files works fine with the blackberry 9800 simulator, coz I have had the NullPointerException error and couldn't solve it (I am still new with this J2me blackberry development)

Anyway, I have a question regarding the extenstion type.

Is it possible to save the images as JPG not as BMP? I have tried to change the extension, however it doesn't work!
