Cannot find RIMIDEWin32Util.dll

When I first instal the JDE everything works fine. However every single time I launch afterwards I recieve the err "Cannot find RIMIDEWin32Util.dll. This is a required component of the IDE."

The file itself is there though, so that is not really the problem.

The only hint I could find online is that it may be due to using a 64bit JDK, but reinstalling everyting with a 32bit version has not helped anything. Any ideas?

Re: Cannot find RIMIDEWin32Util.dll

I'm also getting an error "Cannot find RIMIDEWin32Util.dll. This ia a required component of the IDE" in Win 2008 Server x64.  It was working fine yesterday.  I don't get it...

Re: Cannot find RIMIDEWin32Util.dll

I eventually found this to be due to 64-bit java. If I remember right having the 32bit java listed first in all the path names might have been what fixed this. (I also may have had to reinstall everything a few times.)  Still there is no reason that this shouldn't just work on 64 bit machines...

The BlackBerry development tools don't offically support 64bit so don't always work as expected. RIM has stated that they are working on it.
