I have a problem in receiving mms usin WMA Api. I am able to send MMS and this MMS will be received in message inbox of the destination mobile. But, when i add port while creating the Message Connection, am not able to send. In simulator, it will show illegal argument exception. And in device, no action is happening.
Any idea on this,
Thanks in advance

Do you see similar behaviour when using the mmsdemo included with the BlackBerry Java SDK and BlackBerry JDE? What BlackBerry Smartphone model and BlackBerry device software version are you testing on? You can find this under Options, About on the BlackBerry Smartphone.

BB OS version 4.5 and lower version does not support MMS receiving.
Sometimes MMS comes on default inbox and does not contain sent data.
OS v 4.6 supports MMS functionaliy. plz review your code.

i think its the problem with Port. I given package name of UiApplication class as port like in the MMS Demo . But its not creating the connection object itelf. Shows illegal Argument exception.
connection = Connector.open(url,READ_WRITE, true);
any idea ?

Can you provide a sample URL (substitute the real phone number for a fake one)?

I am using this url
= (MessageConnection) Connector.open("mms://+91xxxxxxxxxx:test.ui.rim.plugin");
test.ui.rim.plugin, is the package name, as like in MMS Demo

The IllegalArgumentException is triggered by the inclusion of the + prefix. Your application would need to determine the appropriate country codes to be used in the URL.
