Code Signing keys keep freezing

Good day All

I have written a code and when I try and Package it, it gets up to 99%. The one code signing key says signed and the RRT and RBB say "Receiving response" while during this time I receive the emails saying all three keys have successfully been signed... The Code signing key screen freezes and can only press the minimise button. I can Leave this all day to run and it will just stay as I explained it to be. I am using Eclipse 1.5.0 BB plug in and JDE 4.5.0.

Any Advice would be much apreciated?

Re: Code Signing keys keep freezing

Thank you.

I got the code signing keys working but now the app still wont open on the Mobile.

The following errors appear:

Run On Startup entry point requires signing with key: RIM Runtime APIBlackBerry Protected API

Signing Required: RIM Blackberry Apps API (0x52424200): Protected Class net.rim.blackberry.api.browser BlackBerry Protected API

Signing Required: RIM Runtime API (0x52525400): Protected Class net.rim.device.api.system.Display SplashScreen BlackBerry Protected API

Signing Required: RIM Runtime API (0x52525400): Protected Class net.rim.device.api.system.BlackBerry Protected API

Any Advice on this??

Re: Code Signing keys keep freezing

Those look like the warnings output by the complier to let you know your application needs to be signed.  Is that where you took them from?  Signing the application would take care of these.  Make sure you have installed all 3 code signing keys, otherwise you may not be fully signing the application.

Re: Code Signing keys keep freezing

That is correct. The thing is my project has been signed. when I load the project on to the device and i click on the Icon it says, "project is trying to access a secure API".

Re: Code Signing keys keep freezing

Make sure you are signing and loading the right cod files.  There could be different files for each version you built with, but only the version for the active Java SDK will be signed.

Re: Code Signing keys keep freezing

In the deliverables folder your see folders for each BlackBerry Java SDK version you've used to build (5.0, 6.0, 7.0, etc...).  When you sign, only the cod files for the version you currently have active are signed.

So if you are using BlackBerry Java SDK version 7.0, build and sign your application and then  load a cod file from the 5.0 directory it may not have been signed.
