Re: Connection working on the simulator but not on the device

Since it's working on the simulator (with the simulated BES) I figure that is where the problemis coming from.

Do you have any idea which settings I can change to "allow" this connection? I've never used a BES configuration tool so I have no idea how to change any setting.

Any input is appreciated.

Re: Connection working on the simulator but not on the device

Is the IP address you are connecting to a public IP or is it on your Intranet?  Are you able to use the BlackBerry Browser?  Verify that the BlackBerry Browser is set to the default browser (Options, (Advanced Options), Browser) and try to connect to the same IP address.  Is it able to connect?  If not, it looks like the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is unable to connect to that server.  It works in the BlackBerry Simulator because you can connect to it from your PC.

Re: Connection working on the simulator but not on the device

It was indeed an intranet address. Exposing it solved the problem.

thanks
