I have recently started using the ConnectionFactory class to create http and https connections in my BlackBerry apps in order for them to be more reliable. But I have noticed that newer apps I write are experiencing a major lag from using it.

Mostly the lag occurs when the application exits.

From what I can tell I am closing all connections correctly after the http(s) connections but still see this problem.

Has anyone else noticed this using ConnectionFactory to create a connection? If so, is there are a workaround or something that you think I may be doing wrong?

I am using the connectionfactory to link go my webserver however I have to carriers (cell phone service providers) in my country the connectionfactory command works on one carrier but fails on doing other...how can I deal with this major problem? I'm thinking of going back to the way it was done before os5.....but idont know how it was done cause I am now only 6months old on blackberry development
