Creating GUI

Hi, I'm new to Blackberry development and Java applications. I was wondering is there an easy way to create a GUI for the Blackberry like using Visual Studios? It looks like the Visual Studios plug-in does not support the Storm. Does the Eclipse plug-in suppose the Eclipse Visual Editor?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Consider Rapid Application Development tools, for example MDS Studio.

Check this: Rapid Application Development tools for Blackberry (MDS Studio)

and this link too:

Re: Creating GUI

Seems like the MDS Studio might be my solution but when I install it, I can't get the 9530 (Storm) skin to show up..... anyone know how to get the Storm skin to work?

Re: Creating GUI

I think that you cannot launch App's OTA using MDS Studio's.. you would have to use a BES ..

I would recommend taking a look for VerticalFieldManager and HorizontalFieldManager

Re: Creating GUI

Basic layouts are very easy if you just use the horiontal and vertical layout managers. If you're going to do anything serious, it's worth taking the time to learn how they work.

Re: Creating GUI

Well I think it's a little more complex than a basic layout and don't have much time to figure everything out
