Custom Manager

I have created a custommanager very much like the custommanager in twiiter for blackberry , but i have an issue of the custom manager getting to fit the contents , i have tried everything possible , so for now i am working with a static width and height is there any way to get it like twitter for blackberry feeds ?, i have attached an image ScreenShot1348996301509.jpg

I am using an activerichtextfield for the text , how do I make it fit the height of the component for all screen sizes so that the text fits into the component properly.

in a custom layout layoutChild would be the correct method to assign a certain size.

I know that but setting d sizes , might affect display for different screens .
