Customizing ZoomScreen - overriding sublayout

[ Edited ]

Hi there,

I want to create a custom ZoomScreen with a few buttons on the top left of the screen. I've experimented with overriding the sublayout but so far I've been unsuccessful. I'm having trouble setting the position of the child fields. I was wondering if this is even possible. Any ideas?

I've customized many manager classes without any problems. Maybe some one can provide some insight into this?

Thanks!

Re: Customizing ZoomScreen - overriding sublayout

The problem I was having before with overriding the sublayout of the ZoomScreen is that I was unable to set the position of the screen's children because it did not belong to the right manager.

After a bit of experiementing, I've found a way to do this by extracting out the ZoomManager and adding it to a separate Manager where I can handle the positioning. This isn't the best way to do this but it does work.

If anyone has a better way, please let us know. thanks!
