Re: Deploying

To deploy your app on the device connect it with USB to ur PC. Open the Desktop Manager and select "Application Loader" and select "Add/Remove application". Browse for your application, and press Next. This should install the application on your device. The options that I have mentioned may vary depending upon the version of the Desktop manager, but the process should be simillar.

Re: Deploying

About Persistent Key

------------------------------

In the JDE highlight a string and right-click on that, then click on 'Convert string to long. You can use that as KEY.

Normally, package name and an ID is used as string. Like: "com.rim.helloworld.id"

Re: Deploying

To generate persistent key, you can take any string and then convert that string in long key and use that long key as your persistent key.
