I had been desperately looking for a solution for a presentation due next week. I need a java (OR vb.net) desktop program to send sms using a Blackberry connected to USB port. I have been given a Verizon 8300 CDMA Blackberry. I can do the same using the Blackberry desktop manager using the given Blackberry connected to any USB port. My requirement is similar, but I will be extending the code for database search and programmatically prepare the text which will be sent as SMS via the Balckberry. Any help will be highly appreciated.
