Re: Detection available wi-fi's

Welcome.

What you request is not possible in OS pre 5.0.

I believe there might be something in OS 5.0 to help with htis but have never looked.  But if you review the 5.0 release notes, that you will find here:

http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/deliverables/15396/index.jsp?name=Release+Notes+-+BlackBerr...=

you might find out what has been added.

Re: Detection available wi-fi's

Peter, thanks for your quick reply. I can't find anything in OS5.0 about this.

Re: Detection available wi-fi's

Had a quick look, HotSpot API was referenced on this page:

http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/deliverables/15396/Network_API_941303_11.jsp

Have a look at the online API doc for 5.0.

http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/5.0.0api/index.html

The documentation for HotspotClientRegistry seems the most useful.
