The Developer Issue Tracker is a web application that provides third-party developers with several new capabilities:

• Submit new issues and feature requests for consideration by Research In Motion (RIM)
• Track submitted issues and feature requests from start to finish to understand when those issues are resolved and in what releases
• View issues submitted by other developers and vote on issues that also affect your application
• Receive full notifications of changes to the state of any issue you submit or add to your watch list
• Leverage the comments section of the application to understand workarounds and helpful tips for submitted issues

A Better Experience

Through this application, BlackBerry® developers can understand what issues exist in the market today, the potential workarounds and timelines for fixing those issues. The developer issue tracker also provides a centralized location to provide feedback to RIM on key areas for improvement in future releases.

Jira is great! However, I cannot login with my existing username/password. There is also no link for 'forgot username/password'.

Great, I actually kept a list of any problems that I have encountered well using my blackberry but couldn't figure out how to submit them.

The login and password is the same as the BlackBerry Developer zone (http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/).  You can reset your password using the form here:  https://www.blackberry.com/CorpDevZone/forgotPassForm.do?zone=cdz

Maybe I missed the obvious but how do you edit an entry you created?

You are not able to edit an entry you have submitted.  If you have additional information to provide you can add it as a comment to your issue.

Thanks, I had gotten a "Waiting for Customer" status but couldn't figure out a way to respond to the dev. or edit the entry so I left a comment anyway.

Entering a comment is the right way - it should then email the assigned person at RIM with your comment, and they can then change it from "Waiting For Customer" to "Investigating" or whatever.

That's what I was expecting except I don't have anyone assigned to my issue. I don't consider the issues major, just annoying so I have one on the lowest importance and one on the second lowest. I don't expect someone to be assigned to them until more important issues are resolved/closed/etc.
