Bo,

Wasn't this all announced about 1 month ago here?

http://devblog.blackberry.com/2010/02/new-community-programs-%e2%80%93-developer-groups-developer-re...

I'm still smarting that I lost my gold star and got a something that looks like it is trying to squash my name.... :smileysad:

And we still don't know how to go up levels.  Evidence suggests posting helps, but how many more posts do I need to do to get my free smart phone!  :smileyhappy:

Re: Developers Start here!

I'm not sure I've helped as much as I much as I've received... (I've only been doing this for 4 months)

I do enjoy the discussions though, and will contribute when and where I can.

Thanks,

Mike Agar

Echoing Peter's comment - what the heck is with the hammer and the squished up "LV3"? Looks awful.

Re: Developers Start here!

Same as Rex and Peter. I hope to understand more elements of BlackBerry development. I don't anwser to many questions because I don't know enough (IMHO) about it. Want to be more helpful though.

Re: Developers Start here!

Is this going to be renewed each year? Just wondering because the last prize is a invite to this year's developer conference and not just a general invite for the current year. But sign me up anyhow. Thanks.

Re: Developers Start here!

Since I started in January, I've been on here quite a bit, giving what advice I can. Don't think I've been too much of a help, in the long run, but I'm trying!

That said, I second Peter's request for a more detailed breakdown of the leveling system. The rewards I know, but not how to get them...

Anyway, I'm in :smileyhappy:,

Re: Developers Start here!

while i understand that the leveling system is not made public i second the notion that the hammer looks awful.

i'd like to have a similar ranking system to the rest of the board at least. maybe you can make stars with a small addition to it? give peter his gold star back and add some small hammer there :smileyhappy:
