Re: Developers Start here!

I guess I'll need to start here.

I'm very new to all of this.

From what I understand this is not really the FAQ I was looking fore...

Being all new to all of this from the high level programming to Blackberry environment.

I have a few things I really need directions on.

I have some Ideas for stuff I want to create, but know nothing except rudimentary Java coding, so I will need directions on everything from:

What is the native language to code in? Java, C#, C++, Perl, Cobol?

Once a language is chosen are there any pointers as where to gather the information needed to build a platform from which I can get some compiling running etc etc.

As you see I really need a lot of help, but I have the spirit to set out and learn.

Anyone that would be able to assist me I would be very happy to get in touch or simply be pointed in the right direction.

Re: Developers Start here!

I am new to Blackberry programming too... But I do know that there are plugins for the .NET languages but you are better off learning Java to get the most out of your efforts.  I downloaded Eclipse and the blackberry plugin I find this makes the learning curve easier.
