Developing PC Interface, advice needed

We are developing a program that will run on a PC and it will connect to a BB via a USB cable.

I cannot find any documentation to help ease the process.

Examples of things we want to accomplish:

-Manipulate data on the device from the program IE manage contacts, messages, media, calendar, etc...

-somehow send a command to the phone to erase personal data

Can anyone shed some light as to where I can begin looking for this type of information?

Try connecting to the USB serial port on the device and AT commands to the device modem to get your work done.

Re: Developing PC Interface, advice needed

If you look in the samples folder there should be sample for connecting to a BlackBerry from your PC through USB (uses the Desktop Manager to simplify coding).
