Re: Development Environment (IDE) Alternatives

Ok...  I downloaded both Eclipse and Netbeans.  So far I really like Eclipse, so I'll accept that as the answer.  Eclipse has a really easy, very user friendly IDE.  It has a nice help system, with easy walk-through tutorials to get you started, great error notification, nice intellisense, object browsing, etc.

I didn't really get into Netbeans, because Eclipse appealed to me more...  I may check it out more in the future if Eclipse doesn't work out.

Thank you for your help!

Re: Development Environment (IDE) Alternatives

for starters the eclipse plugin is the best idea i think, it is also officially supported.
bb-ant-tools or simply eclipse as ide and the jde as a build tool provide more flexibility and have less bugs, but unless you stumble upon them yourself the plugin will work fine.
