I have just uploaded this hard-to-download-from-official-site plugin for Eclispe.
Up to 2/22/2011, this is the latest version
By default, this also, includes the Eclispe Helios and Blackberry JDE component v6, if you need older ones, in Eclipse IDE, go to Help--> Install new software... --> then, add the address: http://www.blackberry.com/go/eclipseUpdate/3.5/java. And I believe you can imagine what to do next (look the following figure).

Dear friend, I have another problem.

When I execute BlackBerry_JDE_PluginFull_1.3.0.201101051005-15.exe,

it says : please select another location to extract the installer to:

When I click the Choose button, and point to an empty folder, the installer
doesn't work and just still asks for location to extract the installer.
I also try to point to eclipse directory, but it also gives the same response.
What has happened ? Is the file corrupt ?


    File Size         : 407,307,217 bytes
    File Size on disk : 407,310,336 bytes

Is that the same file sizes you downloaded ?

the size is 401 MB (421,283,184 bytes)

and on disk is: 401 MB (421,285,888 bytes)

So there's a difference

I do not know why!

and I don't know what is the source of error (your download process or the uploaded file)

but I can garantee you that the file on my hard disk is fine

May be I should split it and upload to mediafire to help you more

But while you wait for me, could you use WinRar (or WinZip, or 7Zip) to extract your file, if success, you will end up with 2 folders:

InstallerData

Windows

Then you go to Windows\EJDEPluginSetup.exe to execute installation.

disk's size depends on used filesystem (used clusters etc)

The incredibly hard to download file, is hard to download because Blackberry must have a cron job that runs every now and then to clean out all the generated files associated with timed out Sessions.

I was finally able to download the file after clicking back, and approving the Software T&C every 20 minutes during the download to stop it timing out.

Hi, I'm glad there is someone doing this.

Is there anyone who is willing to do so for the Mac version? I tried hardly download the Mac version of this IDE but never succeed. Please do a favor.
