Eclipse Blackberry Simulator.

I followed the steps shown here BUT I never get any simulator. All I have is a Blackberry Simulator Output Console. I'm using the Eclipse 3.4.1 and running Windows 7.

Thanks in advice.

Re: Eclipse Blackberry Simulator.

Is there a timeframe of when BB Simulators will be compatible with Windows 7?  Thanks.

Re: Eclipse Blackberry Simulator.

As far I know BlackBerry simulators just work fine on Windows 7.  What problems you guys are having?

If the MDS is not working for you then you have to add "Authenticated Users" group to your security list and give full permission this folder and its sub folder but uncheck the following permissions.

  1. Delete subfolders and files
  2. Change permissions
  3. Take ownership

If this does not work then you have to tell me what exactly you're trying to do and what your problems are.  I am running this on Windows 7 Ultimate with 32 bit.  But I haven't tried it on 64 bit but I can try this evening and see if it works on that as well.

Good Luck!
